Will be required to operate a Glutton Street vac.
Removes debris and dirt from sewer grates and catch basins.
When necessary, shovels snow and sand.
When necessary, cleans litter from vacant lots around the city.
May be required to drive a truck and pull a trailer to and from downtown to deliver the glutton street vac's to the job site.
May be required to drive a City vehicle around downtown area to empty City-owned wastebaskets located on sidewalks.Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid South Carolina Driver's License.Employees in this position are required to work and walk outdoors in downtown CharlestonYou must be available to work the following shifts:
Shift A:
Thursday and Friday
7am - 5pmShift B:
