Job summary
Due to program expansion the YWCA CCR&R is seeking Youth and Family Advocacy Specialist position in Lima Ohio. The role functions as a liaison between the community and the state to respond to inquiries from families young adults and agencies seeking assistance for supports such as food bedding and housing service referrals for parenting classes and assists with navigating benefits and developing informational materials.
Responsibilities
- Establishing partnerships and maintaining correspondence with regional service providers governmental agencies & public entities who can provide support to families within the specified region.
- Coordinating and facilitating regional programming such as family listening sessions and Parent Cafes providing general information regarding program operations maintaining and updating manuals preparing monthly statistical and narrative reports.
