- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the students' educational plans.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic activities, exercises, and interventions aimed at improving fine motor skills, visual perception, handwriting, and daily living skills.
- Monitor students' progress, document therapy sessions, and maintain accurate records of treatment plans, progress reports, and other required documentation.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other team members to provide recommendations and strategies for optimizing students' functional performance in the classroom and other school settings.
- Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.
- Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and best practices in school-based occupational therapy to enhance service delivery.
- Part time - 3 days a week
- Full 23/24 School Year
- Multiple age groups on caseload
- Itinerant
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Indiana.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
