Novant Health Breast Surgery Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population.

What We're Looking For
Education
High School Diploma or GED - Required
Medical Assistant Certification - Required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
Candidates must provide proof of current certification from one of the following approved registries:
CMA - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
CCMA - National Health Career Association (NHA)
RMA - American Medical Technologists (AMT)
American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA)
National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
American Allied Health (AAH)
RMA - American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
If not currently certified, the candidate must:
Obtain certification or registration by the end of the 6th month of hire
Sign an education agreement
Experience
Previous medical office experience - Preferred
Refer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096
Licensure /Certification
Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire - Required
Life Support Training per NH-HR Required
Current State Driver's License - Required (Palliative Care roles only)
