- Manage and lead all financial functions, including Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Planning and Analysis, cash management, profit management, banking, and audit activities.
- Develop and enhance a financial foundation that will allow the business to grow effectively year after year.
- Oversee, lead and mentor current financial team to develop existing talent crucial to the success of expected growth of the organization.
- Administer annual budgeting and planning processes; monitor progress and changes of the P&L to keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization's financial status.
- Drive regular business review processes with management and key departments to assess performance tracking against overall business objectives and goals.
- Develop and monitor cross-functional KPI's and provide hands-on, metrics-driven financial leadership to help accelerate growth and profitability.
- Engage leadership team to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections.
- Ensure accurate and timely multi-company financial reporting and compliance.
- Analyze business risks and opportunities and make recommendations as they affect the financial results of the business.
- A minimum of 10 years accounting / finance experience
- CPA strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required
- Multi-state experience a plus
- A collaborative, creative team player able to connect with all parts of the organization to generate ideas and business strategies
- Desire to mentor and develop a finance team
