Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned Performs routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds buildings apartment homes equipment vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner Routine maintenance duties may include fixing wall floor coverings repairing furniture fixtures performing basic plumbing work performing minor electrical repairs repairing appliances painting refurbishing projects working heating air systems refrigeration systems carpet hard surface maintaining make ready rooms as assigned Qualifications One year maintenance experience Ability be on call needed Has general understanding systems including plumbing electrical mechanical code compliance Possess general understanding OSHA fire prevention life safety regulations Ability respond emergency calls outside scheduled work hours Able handle multiple priorities Competent written verbal skills effective communication Organized time management skills Demonstrates good judgment problem solving decision making skills.
