    Job PurposeThe Logistics Coordinator provides strategic support to our operations, shipping and sales teams.

    Processes ordersby entering sales order data into an ERP system and oversees cycle of order fulfilment to final shipment tocustomer.

    • 1 year of related experience or AA/AS or Vocational/Technical Degree;
    • Prefer specific experience in Logistics or Accounting support.
    Key Job Elements

    • Enters and scans data into an ERP system for shipping, receiving and accounts payable;
    • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of inventory locations, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions;
    • Monitors work in process; schedules trucks; creates Bill of Ladings and other shipping documents;
    • Receive purchased items, compares to PO for accuracy and enter items into accounting system;
    • Collect finished good production numbers and enter into accounting system;
    • Assists external visitors and truck drivers with permit collection and shipping paperwork being completedfor loads.
    Communicate with various other departments as needed to create comprehensive schedules for businessprocesses such as sales appointments, shipping, and accounting tasks;

    • Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using establishedprocedures or processes;
    • Trains new department personnel on all work procedures and software.
    Qualifications and Experience

    • Work knowledge/experience in Logistics and Accounting; previous production planning department support in a manufacturing environment a plus
    • Good Computer data entry skills and knowledge of ERP software.
