    **Summary**

    Provide Quality Assurance audits on merchandise warehoused in the distribution center to reduce product loss or damage.

    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Use Business Intelligence and Triceps reporting to audit pick/reserve slots, forklift letdowns, flag pallets, rotation errors and voice shorts.

    Ensure employees adhere to the standard operating procedures.

    Process warehouse damages

    Monitor aisles for stray cases, hanging cases in reserve, and unsanitary conditions

    Communicate vendor related issues to the Special Projects Operations Team.

    Inspect pallets for hidden damages and record all damaged merchandise.

    Verify product inquiries and discrepancies.

    Identify and communicate slotting opportunities to improve quality of service and productivity and to reduce inventory shrink.

    Ensure that repaired and repackaged cases are selected.

    Responsible for delegating work assignments to and ensuring performance of warehousemen and scanning clerks. Provide verbal feedback and coaching as needed.

    Conduct observations as required.

    Comply with all safety and sanitation rules, regulations, and guidelines; make on the spot correction of unsafe acts and maintain an inspection ready distribution center.

    **Education and/or Experience**

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    **Other Skills and Abilities:**

    Must be able to lift and move objects weighing 60 pounds regularly. You must be able to work open-ended shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
