    The position of Imaging Workflow Administrator (I.W.A.) II is responsible for analyzing, trending, and presenting production metrics for EHC Imaging Services. In addition, the I.W.A. will resolve workflow issues at EHC Imaging Services sites including: EUH, EUHM, EUOSH, WW, ESJH, EJCH, TOWER, ESA's, TEC and Satellite Locations.

    A key function of the position will be to communicate with Physician Leaders and Administrators the opportunities for improving EHC Imaging Services workflow and oversee Imaging Workflow Administrator I's.

    Primary responsibilities include implementing medical imaging applications, administering and supporting Radiology PACS, Cardiovascular PACS, VNA, technical medical imaging interfaces and related technologies (e.g., Radimetrics, lifeIMAGE, RIS, etc.), supporting IWA I's and other medical imaging services, and providing primary support as medical imaging subject matter expert to resolve incidents or fulfill requests received from the Help Desk or application users. Ensures system design, interface functionality, and clinical processes are coordinated and functioning effectively. This individual performs application maintenance and testing of application upgrades and fixes. Provides input to health system policies and procedures, training, and best practices for use within the facility, delivers hands-on training, and assists in implementing health systems standardization, utilization, integration and optimization plans for medical imaging applications and related technologies.

    The Imaging Workflow Administrator II is a full-time position with On-Call Responsibilities for nights, weekends, and holidays. The Imaging Workflow Administrator II will create action plans to improve EHC Imaging Services Workflow. Provide training, guidance, support and supervision for IWA I. Have Master Trainer knowledge of Radiology and Cardiology PACS, VNA and other Enterprise Imaging Archives. Knowledge of RadNet, Radiology Desktop, Powerscribe, Radimetrics, lifeIMAGE, etc. and understanding of the integration points. Monitors and identifies Turn Around Time (TAT) issues with radiologists (e.g. verified but not read). Monitors and identifies Turn Around Time (TAT) issues with technologists (e.g. unverified exams). Create, monitor and resolve Remedy tickets identified as operational/workflow and ensures that tickets are analyzed/reported for trending.

    Act as additional issues resolution resource for IWA I (e.g. more complex repair scenarios). Generate report cards to managers/Assistant Directors on a regular basis regarding imaging workflow opportunities/successes. Notifies managers/Assistant Directors where issues have been identified and not resolved.

    Pulls data from all available resources to provide big picture over: report cards, trending, issue types, and resources.Be responsible for organizing and conducting periodic IWA team meetings; takes issues identified and ensures resolution. Presents to EHC Imaging Services leadership on a regular basis. Be willing to travel to multiple EHC Imaging Sites within the business day. Participate in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned. Participates in the testing and implementation of clinical applications where medical imaging applications integrate with those clinical applications. Coordinate with team members to provide 24/7/365 Support as needed.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Five years experience in imaging services department with strong knowledge of imaging workflow, imaging modalities, and medical anatomy.
    • Experience in application.
    • Ability to successfully interact with EHC Imaging Services employees.
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) experience required.
    • Transportation to all EHC Imaging Services Sites EUH, EUHM, EUOSH, WW, ESJH, EJCH, TOWER, ESA's, TEC and Satellite Locations Sites.
