    Job Overview

    The patient service specialist plays a vital role in providing an exceptional experience for patients at our outpatient physical therapy center in Pensacola. This individual will be responsible for managing both the patient and business sides of the center, interacting with patients, and handling various administrative tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Greet and register patients, providing information about their visit and next appointment
    • Schedule appointments in person and via phone
    • Maintain regular communication with various parties, including insurance companies and market operational leaders
    • Collect co-pays from patients and manage payer approvals and authorizations

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following minimum qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 1 Year Front Desk Experience
