    **Plant Buyer**

    **Location:** Eau Claire, WI, US

    The Plant Buyers mission is to manage inventory and supply by purchasing goods and services necessary to maintain operations in accordance with company needs. You are responsible for managing all supply orders for your plant and monitor inventory to ensure parts availability. You create requisitions and purchase orders and ensure financial accuracy. Finally, you identify opportunities to improve existing processes and systems efficiency, and establish lasting partnerships with your current and potential suppliers.

    Purchase goods and services required for plant operations.

    **Responsible**

    Apply good inventory and purchasing management practices.

    Manage suppliers properly and utilize corporate agreements

    Optimize availability of the right parts to maintain operations.

    Monitor inventory-related performance indicators.

    Ensure compliance with the standards, legislation and regulations in force for products and services.

    Propose improvements to current processes.

    Create and maintain material master records (at MRP parameter level).

    Create purchase orders that are not tendered by Shared Services.

    Manage supply orders.

    Create and maintain the purchasing info record and the list of sources

    Manage the document management system (DMS).

    2 to 5 years of experience and knowledge of industrial environments

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Strong planning, organization and inventory management skills.

    Supplier management skills and high level of autonomy.

    Commitment to business partner satisfaction and ability to collaborate with existing teams.

    Ability to pivot quickly while working on mulitple files

    Ability to plan, organize and prioritize activities effectively.

    High level of integrity to support and advise business partners.
