    As a Building Maintenance Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure they are safe, functional, and well-maintained.

    You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor, and you'll work out of our designated location on a hybrid work schedule.

    In this role, you will have a direct impact on the overall functionality and safety of our facilities, contributing to the smooth operation of our business.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues and ensure proper functioning.


    • General Building maintenance to include painting, floor care, ceiling tiles and hardware.


    • Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to identify the root cause and implement effective solutions.


    • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize the risk of equipment failure and ensure the longevity of our facilities.


    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.


    • Collaborate with other team members and contractors to coordinate maintenance projects and ensure timely completion.


    • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for all employees.


    • Prefer experience with fiberglass pipe insulation.

    YOU MUST HAVE


    • High school diploma or equivalent


    • 1 year minimum of experience in building maintenance or a related field

    WE VALUE


    • Trade certification or vocational training in building maintenance or a related field


    • Experience with preventive maintenance programs


    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills


    • Ability to work well in a team environment


    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
