Description
This is a part-time, 0.6 FTE, 24 hours/ week position.
The Behavioral Health Patient Care Tech assists in the provision of nursing and crisis team care in Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES).
The Patient Care Tech aids the patients with activities of daily living, and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
They assist with behavioral health patients care some of which include obtaining vital signs, assisting during therapy session as directed by licensed providers, and helping to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
The Patient Care Tech reports any changes in condition or behavior to the nurse and/or crisis team.Position Summary:
The Patient Care Tech is imperative to increasing efficiency, productivity, as well as patient and team satisfaction.
