    OVERVIEW:
    We are looking for a motivated and experienced readiness and communication PM to join our sustainability team.

    You will be responsible for creating the program communication strategy for our internal and external stakeholders using various Microsoft tools and platforms.

    You will also support the sustainability team by overseeing all outgoing program communications and providing valuable insights on enhancing engagement with our suppliers.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Proactively develop effective communication strategies to ensure internal and external stakeholders are consistently informed on program updates and requirements.

    Host and facilitate webinars in Microsoft Teams using Live Events and Webinar options, to be attended by sustainability team presenters and the Microsoft suppliers in the sustainability program.

    Write clear and concise notifications to be sent to internal and external stakeholders. These communications may include summaries of webinars, reminders about programs, sharing of best practices, and other updates as needed.
    Maintain our existing communication assets ensuring that they reflect the latest information for the sustainability program.
    Provide general operations support as needed.


    Typical Day in the Role:

    Purpose of the Team:

    The purpose of the role that sponsor is looking to fill is to backfill an FTE who is on a short term leave for the next three months.

    The role is a communications and readiness individual who works with the suppliers to get them to submit their greenhouse gas emissions to Microsoft.

    The role involves attending meetings, providing input, creating and facilitating webinars, drafting and sending communications, and maintaining external sites for the programKey Projects:

    The key project that the contractor would be working on is the communications and readiness for the suppliers' greenhouse gas emissions program.

    The role will consist of:Attend meetings with the team and provide input on the communications and readiness for the suppliers' greenhouse gas emissions programCreate and facilitate webinars for the suppliers, schedule rehearsals, and manage the Q&A sessionsDraft and send communications to the suppliers and determine the best timing and frequency for themMaintain two external sites for the program using SWAY (presentation program)Research and make recommendations on how to improve the communications with the suppliersAssist with other basic operational tasks as needed


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in communication, marketing, or related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the sustainability sectorProficient in using Microsoft Loop, Sway, Teams, and other Microsoft tools and platformsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor the message to different audiences and contextsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skillsPassionate about sustainability and eager to learn and grow in this field
