Overview

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (Ventilator Specialist) to join our client's team supporting their Wilmington, Salisbury, Lynn and Methuen, Massachusetts territory . This individual will be responsible for managing a set number of ALS and/or Pediatric ventilation patients within this territory and will be the primary contact for patient, caregiver and any other entity directly involved with the patient's ventilation care. They will create their own schedule every day servicing patient needs in their respective territory.

Must Haves:

• Credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Home respiratory care experience is preferred or equivalent hospital experience
• 1+ year experience in Pediatric and/or ALS Ventilation experience
• Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Available for on-call assignments as needed; responsible for phone consultations during non-business hours
• Maintains continuing education as necessary for performance of job responsibilities and as required for state licensure or certification
• Maintains documentation of all services provided and all work performed per Rotech's policies and procedures
• Maintains records and workspace in an organized, safe, clean, and neat fashion
• Maintains up-to-date licensure certification or other requirements per state law in the state(s) of practice
• Supports orientation and training of other personnel at the direction of the Manager
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by state licensure law or by the Manager
• Patient assessment
• Provides patient education as applicable
• Sets up all highly technical respiratory equipment
• Monitors ongoing function of highly technical respiratory equipment
