    Description
    The Lead Team Member helps maintain a clean, well-organized store and creates a customer-first store culture through exceptional store standards. Key responsibilities include assisting customers, operating a cash register, stocking and recovering merchandise, cleaning the store, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Team Leader. Lead Team Members perform the duties of a Team Member and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Providing superior customer service to exceed customer expectations

    • Modeling product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance the customer experience

    • Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized store environment

    • Assisting in merchandising the store to create an appealing customer experience

    • Rotating product to create eye-catching displays and drive sales

    • Completing daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities

    • Ensuring store condense and reset standards are maintained consistently

    • Operating cash registers and scanners

    • Assisting customers with self-checkout and merchandise

    • Cleaning the store, taking out trash, and setting up sidewalk displays

    • Opening and closing the store under specific direction



    Qualifications include:

    • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills

    • Understanding of safety policies and practices

    • Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides

    • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and cash register functions

    • Knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies and practices



    Work experience and education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
