    Job Title:

    DIRECTOR OF NURSING (DON) - RN

    About the Role:

    This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the nursing department at Wallingford Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to lead a team.

    Salary Information:

    The estimated annual salary for this position is $125,000 - $140,000, based on a 40-hour workweek and the pay rate of $75/hr on W2 or $80/hr on 1099. This calculation does not include benefits, bonuses, or overtime pay.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that align with regulatory standards and facility goals.
    • Lead and manage the nursing staff, providing guidance, coaching, and evaluation as needed.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.

    Requirements:

    • RN licensure in good standing.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a skilled nursing setting, preferably in a leadership role.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.

    Work Schedule:

    7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 9 weeks contract.
