Job title: Equipment Operator (Forklift) - Tuesday - Saturday (8:00AM - 4:30PM)

Description

The role of Warehouse Equipment Operator is critical in ensuring the smooth daily flow and duties within the Inventory Management department. This position requires a strong background in warehouse operations and experience in operating various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.

Key responsibilities include receiving, replenishing, and putting away/docking stock, inspecting pallets and products for defects and damages, and organizing items on pallets. Additionally, this role involves re-packing and re-organizing product in storage and pick locations, maintaining inventory levels, and performing machinery checks according to company and safety guidelines.

Essential Duties:
Ensure proper receiving, replenishment, and put away/dock to stock policies
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other equipment safely and efficiently
Unload and receive/stage all incoming trucks
Inspect pallets and products for defects and damages
Replenish product from storage locations to pick locations
Put away/Dock to Stock of product from inbound dock to storage and pick locations
Organize stocks and maintain inventory
Perform machinery checks per company and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications:

Mandatory:
Strong warehouse background
Experience operating warehouse equipment
Able to demonstrate willingness to learn and improve
High level of energy and drive to work with warehouse employees
Excellent people and communication skills
Maintain neat, clean, and orderly warehouse appearance
Ability to work extended hours/over-time as needed
Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines
