    Control Risks is looking for a Crisis Specialist to support our client's 24/7/365 GSOC.

    This role will facilitate the Client's crisis management response, coordinate incident escalations, and emergency communications to site-, regional-, and enterprise-level global security leadership.


    This position will help cover one shift of the client's schedule and may require you to work either the client's day shift or swing shift.

    Tasks and Responsibilities
    Monitor worldwide events; identify events with the potential to impact the Client's personnel, assets, and operations.

    Examples of relevant event categories include, but are not limited to:
    natural disasters, transportation disruptions, political instability, terrorism, and crime
    Draft and review concise notifications for distribution to the Client's decision-makers and global security leaders
    Collaborate with a cross-functional team of other global security professionals in support of the GSOC's 24/7/365 operations
    Facilitate the Client's crisis management response; coordinate incident escalations and emergency communications to site, regional, and enterprise-level global security leadership
    Conduct detailed written and verbal situation briefings to global security executives and higher
    Implement and support GSOC operating procedures and best practices to drive business goals and objectives
    Participate in training and exercises to ensure GSOC team proficiency and compliance with standard operating procedures
    Conduct after-action reviews (AARs) to identify lessons learned and best practices
    Manage the implementation of new services, tools and applications support the GSOC operations
    Develop effective relationships with internal dependency partners; primarily IT and HR
    Work with the Client's Global Security team and vendors
    Ability to collaborate with Global Security's Protective Services and Systems & Technology team
    Ability to exhibit diplomacy, professionalism, and calm under pressure during critical incidents
    Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Security Studies, International Affairs, Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, Journalism or related field
    1+ years' experience in government, corporate security or a similar role
    Experience working with global risk intelligence and incident response software.
    Experience with emergency mass notification systems
    Experience with travel risk management software platforms
    Experience working in a collaborative environment such as government or corporate global security operations center, emergency operations center, or a major urban area fusion center
    Experience working with geographic information systems such as ArcGIS and Google Earth
    Experience evaluating open-source information (media, social media, and unclassified government websites) to conduct incident analysis
    Experience using business intelligence and visualization software such as Tableau and Microsoft PowerBI
