7am-7:30pm 3 days per weekSummary:Under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Physician, the Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.
Position Responsibilities:
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
One year OR Training or Experience
Required Education:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program
Training/Certifications/Licensure:
BLS.Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.
Maintenance of New Jersey State required 15 CEs per year.
