    Embark at Buckhead is looking for part-time Clinical Support Staff who align with our mission of reducing adolescent and young adult anxiety, depression and suicide to join our OP, IOP and PHP clinic in Atlanta, Georgia.     What would you do: Clinical Support Staff provide broad support to our outpatient behavioral health team by helping lead group therapy, assists medical professionals in a clinical setting. Setting patient appointments, assisting with client check-in and orientation, collecting patient data, insurance information, and providing any additional support that your coworkers might need and helping clients practice skills that promote emotional regulation.

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist the clinical staff in supporting clients in treatment groups and activities.
    • Supervises the students and ensures that they are being safe to themselves and to those around them.
    • Helps clinical staff enforce Group Rules and Norms.
    • Rewards and praises students for positive behavior.
    • Assists students in processing through the students various issues and concerns.
    • Develops a healthy and meaningful staff/student relationship with each student.
    • Advises students regarding problem solving and offers healthy coping strategies for dealing with the students emotions.
    • Observes and charts student behavior, affect, and participation.
    • Comforts and supports struggling students. Listens to them as needed.
    • Role models in all areas.
    • Monitors the environment surrounding the girls at all times for safety and is aware of emergency procedures.
    • Provides care and monitors symptoms for individuals with moderate or high risk of suicide.
    • Assists Clinical Team in Assessing clients for suicide risk and performing appropriate screening for suicide risk when needed.
    • Works to create a therapeutic environment on shift.
    • Punctuality and regular attendance is essential.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:
    • Completion or near completion of bachelors degree or higher in Behavioral Sciences
    • Experience working in a behavioral health setting.
    • Ability to pass a state background check.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Team player.
    • Flexibility a must.
    • First Aid & CPR certified.

    Education and Experience: The position requires to have a masters degree in health administration, health information management or a related field.
