    J-Tech is currently looking for a Cost Accountant to join our team Join a growing company that is known for quality products and has family-friendly values.     Responsibilities include:

    *Review and post daily/monthly manufacturing accounting entries includes sales, costs of goods sold, and variances

    *Track, analyze, and report on costs of goods sold on a monthly and annual basis.

    *Support engineering, inventory, and production departments

    *Audit inventory movement/adjustments daily.

    *Calculate labor and overhead rates of goods for sale.

    *Analyze and report direct and indirect labor monthly

    *Complete estimated vs actual by work order

    *Complete new product profit analysis and determine gross margin

    *Assists in implementing budgets and reporting expense variances.

    *Assist with a 5-day close.

    *Perform account reconciliations and intercompany transactions.

    *Report key performance indicators monthly.

    *Education and Experience:

    Bachelor of Science degree in accounting: 3+ years cost accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Knowledge of ERP systems.

    Prioritize responsibilities by using multitasking and time-management skills.

    Able to effectively communicate both written and verbal.

    Salary is negotiable depending on experience.


    Monday - Friday 7:30-4:00
    40 hours a week
