- Interpret and apply contract terms and conditions to ensure accurate billing procedures.
- Monitor program budgets and contract expenditures, coordinating closely with Program Managers to optimize financial performance.
- Prepare and distribute comprehensive monthly Contract Expenditure/Management Reports.
- Maintain meticulous records of all payments and manage contract-related change requests.
- Develop and maintain detailed billing documents and spreadsheets for precise cost allocation.
- Create and communicate financial reports to support project status, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance in billing practices.
- Oversee contract-related Accounts Payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
- Maintain accurate records of contract budgets, expenses, and cash receipts using AmpliFund.
- Provide detailed financial data and reports for contract reporting and audits as required.
- Billing Contracts Coordinator > Staff Accountant > Senior Accountant > Accounting Manager > Controller > Vice President of Finance > Chief Financial Officer
- Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent high-level Accounts Receivable experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Contract management.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables.
- Proficiency in database management; experience with Blackbaud FE and AmpliFund is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting processes, General Ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
- High level of accuracy in calculating, posting, and managing financial records.
