    Position Function

    A crucial role in the function and operation of teacher preparation, the coordinator of Early Field Experiences will work closely with office leadership in the management of the field experiences for Ball State University.

    This position administers correspondence with school districts, school personnel and students, placement of students, ongoing monitoring student field placements, and coordination with assigned faculty.

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
    At least one year of office or related experience; excellent communication skills.
    Minimum Other
    Thorough ability to communicate with a wide variety of people in a precise and professional manner.
    Ability to manage both undergraduate and graduate students.
    Practice with diverse individuals, groups and/or communities.
    Ability to utilize university software.
    Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
    Excellent problem-solving skills.

    This includes, but is not limited to; creating digital contracts, coordinating placement requests, obtaining transcripts; maintaining the Tk-20 database and Excel databases; obtaining public school schedules; and contacting students regarding placement changes.
