RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Auto offer position starting ASAP
Must have minimum 2 years medical/surgical nursing experience required
Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license required
BLS certification from AHA required
ACLS certification optional
Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served
Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner
Demonstrate performance consistent with unit standards of care
Handle emergency/crisis situations
Perform prolonged standing and walking
Position, push and transfer patients or equipment requiring heavy physical effort
Work in bloodborne pathogen environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays
Maintain current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient population served
Communicate clearly and appropriately to developmental age of patients
Work varied hours with flexibility for unexpected schedule changes and emergencies
