Neurology Full-Time position in Madison, Wisconsin - University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health

Description

This position will be responsible for patient care and surgery, teaching and clinical research responsibilities including the training of medical students, house staff and fellows.

The position will provide neurosurgical services for UW Health and will be a key collaborator with other faculty in neurological surgery and cranial programs and services at Meriter Hospital and UWHC.

Successful candidates will develop new teaching programs as well as enhance existing programs; attract patient referrals to the service; develop a plan to present information concerning neurosurgery statewide; serve as attending on neurosurgery inpatient and consult service and outpatient clinics; and participate in clinical activities at Meriter Hospital, UWHC, VA Hospital and affiliated clinics.

• Wisconsin Medical License eligibility.
• DEA certifications must be obtained by start date.
• Board eligible or certified Neurosurgeon.
• Fellowship training preferred.
• Open cerebrovascular and general neurosurgery skills and experience preferred.
• Endovascular, Cerebrovascular and/or Skull base Training preferred.
