    JOB SUMMARY
    Oversees and leads the initial and continued technical and tactical training of theft resolution

    and shrink reduction skills for all assigned TJX U.S. Loss Prevention Associates. Works in

    partnership with Loss Prevention Managers across multiple disciplines and Loss Prevention

    Training to assess and improve Loss Prevention Associates to meet and/or exceed theft

    resolution goals and minimize liability exposures. Ensures the safety of Loss Prevention

    Associates, store Associates and customers, and the protection of the Company brand through

    the administration of training. Exhibits and models sound judgment in their decision-making.

    Adheres to Company policies and maintains and supports Company culture and values.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Major Areas of Responsibilities

    Training & Skill Development


    • Delivers modular training and upskilling, including LP Policies & Procedures, for
    new/existing TJX U.S. Loss Prevention Associates across multiple disciplines.


    • Coordinates the logistics for scheduling training, including the onboarding calendar, prework
    review, shipping materials, etc. for new/existing TJX U.S. Loss Prevention Associates

    across multiple disciplines.


    • Provides feedback and coaching to TJX U.S. LP Associates. Partners with the Loss
    Prevention Managers to consistently provide feedback on their assessment of the

    new/existing LP Associates (e.g., Internal/external theft resolution skills, report writing, Case

    Management usage).


    • Supports the Loss Prevention Managers during certification of new Loss Prevention
    Associates.


    • Assesses and evaluates technical skills for Loss Prevention Associates and identifies the
    appropriate resources to support their development.


    • Maintains Status of Training reports to track each trainee's progress during the onboarding
    process.

    Internal & External Theft Resolution


    • Ensures impact of theft resolution by properly training LP Detectives to observe, apprehend
    and/or deter acts of dishonesty from external sources.


    • Ensures impact of theft resolution by properly training National Task Force Investigators to
    initiate, investigate and document complex organized retail theft/fraud cases.


    • Ensures impact of theft resolution by effectively training the LP Associates (Centralized
    Internal Investigations, LP Detectives, LP Specialist (Supply Chain), Customer Service

    Associates) to initiate, investigate, and close dishonest Associate cases by identifying

    internal theft alert signals and methods, creating action plans, conducting surveillances, etc.


    • Effectively trains LP Specialists/LP Lead on protecting the Company's assets as it moves
    through the Supply Chain.


    • Effectively trains LP Associates on implementing shrink and safety awareness programs and
    identifying resources to initiate and substantiate cases.


    • Focuses additional training and core role skill development for underperforming LP
    Associates through recommending/demonstrating strategies and core role solutions to

    improve theft resolution results.

    Partnership and Development


    • Ongoing partnership and communication with Business Partners at multiple levels and
    disciplines.


    • Is a Subject Matter Expert across multiple disciplines. This requires the LPTSs to be
    upskilled in the uniqueness of each TJX U.S. brand, the National Task Force, Centralized

    Internal Investigations and Distribution Center LP.

    Minimum formal education, if any, required to perform this job e.g., Bachelor's Degree in

    Accounting, Law Degree).

    High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

    Minimum job skills required to perform this job (for example: programming languages, strong

    interpersonal skills, computer software packages).

    Excellent communication (verbal and written)

    Sound judgement/decision making

    Strong problem-solving skills and influencing adherence to policies and procedures

    Capacity to lead groups of 3-10 participants through training activities

    Ability to take initiative and perform well independently

    Ability to train Associates regarding loss prevention techniques across multiple disciplines

    Experience in Microsoft Office Suite

    Minimum experience required to perform this job.

    Experience as a Loss Prevention Detective, ORC/Internal Investigations, Supply Chain LP, etc.

    with 6-12 months experience in a related role.
