    Smile Island Pediatric and Adult Dental Group/ Weideman Pediatric Dentistry

    Position: Pediatric Dentist (Fill-In/ Temporary)
    Schedule: Temporary assignment from May to July on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Fill-in as necessary.
    Business Hours: Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    Location: Rocklin/Citrus Heights, CA

    The chosen pediatric specialist for this role should possess a deeply caring demeanor, exceptional communication abilities, and unparalleled professionalism. Moreover, the ideal candidate should have a strong passion for dentistry and be dedicated to delivering top-notch comprehensive care to young patients.

    Qualifications:
    • Licensed dentist in California
    • Dental degree from a reputable university (DDS/DMD)
    • American Board of Pediatric Dentistry board-eligible/certified
    • Patient-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Enjoys working with children of all ages, including special needs individuals and their families
    • Strong communication skills with patients, parents, and colleagues
    • Integrity, empathy, compassion, and modesty
    • Friendly and team-oriented
    Duties:
    • Provide comprehensive dental care to infants, children, and teenagers
    • Conduct dental exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans
    • Deliver detailed operative dental procedures
    • Educate patients and families on oral health and preventive care
    • Lead and collaborate with a dental team to ensure exceptional patient service
    • Maintain accurate patient records
    • Stay informed about the latest advancements in dentistry
    Physical Requirements:
    • Prolonged standing, leaning, and bending periods
    • Able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
    • Dexterity to use dental tools efficiently
    • Visual abilities like close vision, color vision, etc.
    • Capable of administering CPR

    * Salary range: $1,100-$1,500 per day based on qualifications
