- Designs, implements, coordinates, and assesses treatment programs for Health Plan members with acute or chronic mental health issues. Collaborates in team meetings to select and assess treatment plans. Offers outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
- Provides guidance to patients and their families on following prescribed therapy and medication routines. Administers specialized therapies when needed. Supports the patient's family and conducts educational sessions.
- Creates intake reports, treatment plans, and maintains confidential records. Documents treatment progress adhering to regulations and community standards. May need to be on-call as part of departmental responsibilities.
- Works with physicians to evaluate patients for medication needs. Utilizes community resources for member care. Develops and assesses behavioral medicine programs in different settings. Provides consultations to other providers on mental health and behavioral medicine matters.
- Supervises fellow professionals as required. Offers family support and educates them on treatment methods at the patient's request.

- Proficient in DSM-V diagnosis methods.
- Skilled in assessing and treating various psychiatric conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

- Should have knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research.
