    Description
    This Position is Eligible for a Sign-On Bonus of $2,000

    $1,000 payable on n ext scheduled paycheck following 30 days of employmentand

    $1,000 payable at the completion of the conditional employment period which is typically six months in length.

    Sign-On Bonus payment will be subject to required payroll taxes

    Must work 20 or more hours per week to be eligible

    Employee must be in good standing and active status to be eligible for payment


    Minimum Starting Hourly Rate:
    $16.22/hr

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION
    Works under the supervision of the Central Counties Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Serves as a direct service provider for individuals with IDD receiving behavior supports or services through IDD Crisis. Maintains a specialty caseload of consumers with behavioral challenges.

    Responsible for the implementation of the behavioral strategies/therapeutic supports/behavior support plans as directed by Crisis staff or Behavior Support staff.

    Assists in the development of the Behavior Support Plan and Therapeutic Support Plan. May assist with developing behavioral strategies based on assessment of consumer behavior. Participate as an active member of Wrap-Around services team. Meets with consumers per a developed schedule, initiates the behavioral strategies and completes related progress notes. Completed session data as requested by BCBA/CIS. Provides supervision and therapeutic supports for clients in crisis respite and conducts behavior support sessions. Services may also be provided in the clients home or a community setting. Must be willing to travel the 5 county service area.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    Responsible for the implementation of behavioral strategies as outlined in the Therapeutic Support Plan/ Behavior Support Plan, based on assessments completed by Behavior Support staff and Crisis Intervention staff.

    Responsible for making face to face contacts with consumers on assigned caseload based on the frequency set forth in the Plan.

    Responsible for submitting service tickets/progress notes within seven calendar days to data entry.
    Acts as conduit for behavior data logs and evaluates these logs for potential behavioral strategies.
    Participates in planning team meetings, as applicable, in order to develop the support plan and any updates or revisions.
    Prepares materials/binders for clients receiving behavior support services in the home, clinic, crisis respite or community.
    Must stay compliant with all required training.

    Prepares and conducts lessons, programs, and group activities to promote socialization and self-advocacy, develop coping skills to reduce or avoid maladaptive behaviors or crisis situations.

    Prepares and conducts sessions for behavior supports and crisis respite.
    Demonstrate high ethical standards, trustworthiness, and personal integrity.

    Regular attendance, dependability, and promptness are required for the 8-5 work day or agreed upon hours 100% of the time, to ensure consistency and completeness of programs processes.

    Professional Development - Successfully complete training required to maintain skill competency and cross training to ensure consistency across program procedures.

    Complete continuing education as required by professional standards and the Center.
    Frequent daily driving within the catchment area is required.


    GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
    Experience/Education/Licensing/Certification

    High School diploma or equivalent.
    Prefer dire t care work with consumers with autism/behavioral challenges.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods.
    Ability to effectively handle potentially aggressive behavior in a positive manner.

    Additional Requirements

    Must have and maintain a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
