The SGT Mechanical Field Service Representative is a Region North America position reporting to the Gas Turbine Field Service Manager in the Siemens Energy group based in Deer Park Texas The selected candidate is responsible for providing service and technical services for the SGT product lines Services include mechanical disassembly inspection reassembly and commissioning during planned or unplanned outages long-term-service contracts and any modernizations and upgrades The FSR is technically responsible for all facets of the company's scope of work during equipment installation and/or subsequent service inspections/outages focusing on SGT mechanical service The successful candidate will also cross train and be utilized in related product familiesHow You'll Make An Impact Maintain the highest level of a zero-harm culture in part by following and enforcing all company and customer EHS policies and programs Carry out all aspects of mechanical installation commissioning service maintenance gas turbine packages Region North America Canada according to contract deadlines Plan/perform coordinate onsite service activities Liaise project engineering teams ensure customer expectations met exceeded Able carry supervise mechanical aspects Gas Turbine Inspection procedures visual inspection borescope Inspection filter changes valve servicing return correct standards procedures Maintain accurate record activity carried site Produce written reports Travel extensively approximately 80 domestically willing travel internationally as opportunities arise Must hold valid passport pass required background checks drug/alcohol testing International assignments include developing countries Must able perform duties day night shift difficult conditions heat cold noise etc Travel short notice weekends holidays What You Bring High School diploma GED verified required Minimum experience mechanic industrial aeroderivative gas turbines Previous SGT gas turbine outage experience Power Generation Oil Gas Industries plus but not required Familiar strip/rebuild rotating mechanical equipment function associated auxiliary systems preferred Experience endoscopic Borescope inspections techniques preferred Ability understand interpret engineering drawings documents familiar laser alignment plus Strong time management leadership organizational skills strong verbal written communication client facing negotiating skills valuable plus Must hold valid driver's license passport Applicants legally authorized employment United States employer-sponsored work authorization internal transfers available employees current visa sponsorship About Team Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation decarbonization Zero low emission power generation all gas turbines under one roof steam generators Decarbonization opportunities through offerings modernizations digitalizations fleet Who Siemens Energy At Siemens Energy we more than just energy technology company With dedicated employees over countries develop energy future ensuring growing energy demand global community met reliably sustainably Technologies created research departments factories drive transition provide base sixth world's electricity generation Global team committed making sustainable reliable affordable energy reality pushing boundaries possible Uphold legacy innovation encourages search people support focus decarbonization new technologies transformation Find difference https//www.siemens-Rewards Career growth development opportunities supportive culture Company paid health wellness benefits Paid Time Off paid holidays 401K savings plan match Family building parental leave
