Coeur Mining, Inc. is a U.S.-based, well-diversified, growing precious metals producer with four wholly-owned operations: the Palmarejo silver-gold complex in Mexico, the Rochester silver-gold mine in Nevada, the Kensington gold mine in Alaska, and the Wharf gold mine in South Dakota. In addition, the Company wholly-owns the Silvertip silver-zinc-lead development project in British Columbia and has interests in several precious metals exploration projects throughout North America.

The Mill Operator will report to the Mill Supervisor. The schedule for this position is 14 days on at the mine site located about 45-miles north of Juneau, accessible only through company transportation, and 14 days off.

Responsibilities:

Safe operation of feeders, crushers, conveyors, grinding mills, flotation cells, pumps, slurry flows, sampling, reagents, thickeners, and tools.

Safely operates the crushing circuit, grinding circuit, flotation circuit, and thickeners.

Safety operates the filtration which includes flocculent mixing and addition and reagent mixing and reagent addition.

Operate the following mobile equipment: Rubber tired loader, excavator, rock breaker, track skid steer loader, forklift, and extended boom forklift.

Observes mill production monitoring equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Records operational and production data on specified forms.

Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas, using mobile equipment, overhead crane, and hand tools.

Cleans up spillage, and maintains machinery, equipment, materials, and products.

Responsible for complying with environmental and safety policies.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

Ability to work safe and promote safe behavior in others.

High school diploma or equivalent.

One year of experience in a process plant.

Previous experience with flotation and gravity concentration.

Demonstrates safe work practices.

Effective interpersonal relationships, initiative, and problem solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Sets high standards for self and others, builds trust, and takes accountability.

Preference given to Alaska residents.
