- Lead a dynamic team of scientists in the design and development of novel vaccine vectors for HIV, tuberculosis, and other infectious diseases.
- Utilize cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to engineer viral vectors for optimal vaccine delivery and efficacy.
- Conduct preclinical studies to evaluate the immunogenicity and safety profiles of vaccine candidates.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to advance vaccine candidates through early-stage development.
- Provide scientific expertise and strategic guidance to drive innovation and achieve project milestones.
- Publish research findings in high-impact scientific journals and present at conferences to contribute to the scientific community.
- PhD in Immunology, Virology, Molecular Biology, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral experience in vaccine vector design and development.
- Proven track record of success in the design and optimization of viral vectors for vaccine applications.
- Expertise in molecular cloning, vector construction, and viral vector characterization.
- Strong background in immunology and experience with preclinical vaccine evaluation assays.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
