Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ford Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered Ford vehicles and heavy equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our Ford truck fleet. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension, HVAC systems, and electrical components using schematics and automotive diagnostic tools.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other machinery.
- Fabricate parts and components as needed using power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and hand tools to ensure proper fit and function.
- Repair and replace shocks & struts, brakes, tires, wheel alignments, and other critical vehicle systems to maintain safety standards.
- Assemble new equipment or machinery parts following technical specifications and schematics; perform equipment repair and preventive maintenance routines.
- Utilize heavy lifting techniques safely when handling large components or machinery; operate heavy equipment such as excavators or forklifts when required.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction with the service provided.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with dealership or heavy equipment repair environments preferred.
- Strong background in diesel engine repair with familiarity in automotive diagnostics and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience working with Caterpillar, Ford diesel engines, or similar industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding, soldering, and assembly of mechanical parts.
- Knowledge of schematics for troubleshooting complex systems such as hydraulics, air brakes, HVAC units, suspension systems, and transmissions.
- Experience operating heavy machinery like excavators or cranes is a plus.

Pay: $ $50.00 per hour
