    Description

    Position: X-Ray Tech (Radiology Tech)

    Location: Vail, CO 81657

    Shift: Days / Nights.

    Duration: 13 Weeks.

    Job Summary:


    • Performs full range of General Radiology procedures including but not limited to: Portables, fluoroscopy, operating room, trauma, contrast studies and DEXA bone densitometry in a digital/PACS environment.


    • Responsible for operating a variety of x-ray equipment in both a hospital/trauma and outpatient setting. Responsible for confirming order/correct patient/correct exam and entering exam in Meditech.


    • Must obtain quality image including both technical and positional factors. Responsible for maintaining exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable.


    • Responsible for confirming patient demographics and lead markers prior to processing/QA and releasing image and assuring all "Stat" procedures or special exam instructions are completed appropriately.


    • Adapts to schedule changes including call shifts and call back for procedures/holidays.

    Requirements:


    • 1 year experience in X-Ray Tech.


    • Graduate of ARRT Accredited Program and current ARRT registry required.


    • Current ARRT registry required.
