We are seeking a skilled Signal Technician to join our team in Des Moines, IA. This role involves collaborating with traffic engineers and technicians to execute services and project work in the field.

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, providing solutions that enhance our clients' traffic management systems, and maintaining a superior hands-on understanding of ITS technology. Key responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting Technical Issues: Handle technical questions from clients and team members, provide field services on diverse projects, and develop strategies for signal timings.


• Maintenance of ITS Technology: Oversee the installation, turn-on, maintenance, and testing of traffic signal cabinets; support field operations for integration projects; configure traffic signal controllers for optimal performance.


• Fault Detection: Identify faults in traffic control devices during installation or repair processes using TIA/EIA-568 cabling standards;
