    HR Manager - Van Nuys,California (On Site)

    StandardAero hasan exciting opportunity for a strategic Human Resources Leader tojoin one of the largest independent aviation service businesses inthe world. The Company is a global organization with ~7000employees working out of facilities strategically located in 55primary locations across 6 continents.

    Reportingdirectly to the sector Vice President of Human Resources, the HRManager will act as a key member of the leadership team, withaccountability to the Business Unit VP GMs.

    TheHR Manager will be accountable for the leadership and delivery ofresults in the areas of Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition,Employee Engagement, Employee Relations and Compensation for theapplicable Business Units in Van Nuys. The role will be based outof the Western Jet Aviation, a company of StandardAero Van Nuyssite.

    What you'lldo:
    • Acts as atrusted advisor to the Senior Management team and other members ofLeadership, providing strategic HR guidance on the organization'shuman resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates tocurrent and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, andsuccession planning.
    • Hires, inspires, developsand motivates a collaborative and highly functioning HRteam
    • Collaborates with global HR CentralFunction partners to develop and deploy HR solutions that driveorganizational alignment while allowing for local nuance
    • Handles discipline and termination of employees inaccordance with company policy.
    • Providessupport and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staffwhen complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issuesarise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks indelicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations,investigating allegations of wrongdoing, andterminations.
    • Partners with Talent Acquisitionto ensure an effective hiring process for the organization, whichmay include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified jobapplicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professionalroles; collaborates with hiring managers to understand skills andcompetencies required for openings.
    • Develops,coordinates and participates in creative solutions to businesschallenges and cultural changes
    • Identifies andcoordinates long term talent management planning to develop longerterm organizational capabilities
    • Consults andengages with leadership to foster and promote engagement at alllevels of the organization.
    • Analyzes trends incompensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive baseand incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts andretains top talent.
    • Creates learning anddevelopment programs and initiatives that provide internaldevelopment opportunities for employees.
    • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations,and investigations.
    • Maintains compliance withfederal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, andrecommended best practices; reviews policies and practices tomaintain compliance.
    • Ensures the consistentand equitable application of organization policies andprocedures
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, bestpractices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in humanresources, talent management, and employment law.
    • Participates in site-wide and company-wide HR initiativesas required
    • Performs other duties asassigned.
    Requirements:

    • Proficiency with orthe ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talentmanagement systems.
    • Effective use of KPIs todrive HR Operational Excellence.
    PreferredCharacteristics:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, BusinessAdministration, or related field, Master's Degreepreferred.
    • A minimum of 7+ years of humanresource management experience preferred
    • HRCertification preferred

    Salary:$99,000-145,000 annually, based onexperience
