We are currently looking for an experienced analyst for our Energy & Power team in Houston, TX.Our analysts work closely with senior bankers to make a real impact on our clients' businesses through involvement in all facets of investment banking activities including equity and debt offerings, valuations, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and strategic advisory work.

On a day-to-day basis our analysts:Create financial modelsConduct financial valuationsCreate and maintain industry-specific business development booksConduct industry- and company-specific researchInteract with clients and senior bankersSignificant international deal exposure in all geographies (North America, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Latin America and Africa)Significant interaction and collaboration with colleagues in LondonOur environment is collaborative, demanding, fast-paced and entrepreneurial.

Qualifications:

Minimum one year of Investment Banking or related financial experienceBachelors degree from a top tier business schoolAbility to work in a fast paced and challenging environmentCandidates must be able to handle multiple projects at once and learn quicklyPrevious experience with financial modeling or formal trainingM&A modeling, M&A process and M&A pitching experience strongly preferredAs a leading investment bank, we enable growth and success for our clients through deep sector expertise, candid advice and a differentiated, highly productive culture.
