    Description

    Overview:

    Fulfill requests for filing and retrieving loan folders and documents for Commercial, Consumer and Residential Mortgage loans.

    Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming and outgoing loan folders, and/or documents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Transport requested loan folders and/or documents to and from onsite business partners.
  • Track incoming and outgoing loan folders and/or documents electronically and/or manually.
  • Complete general level file room duties including numerical ordering and alphabetizing.
  • Operate handheld scanner equipment, inclusive of scanning and downloading data.
  • Provide loan folder and documentation support for loan acquisitions and transfers.
  • Adhere to the Company's standards for confidentiality.
  • Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to Management.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite Statement.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year's work experience
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree
  • Organized
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to adhere to required deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to manage work load
  • Content to work on repetitive tasks

    • Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move 30-50 pounds
  • Ability to climb a ladder and/or stool to reach files
  • Ability to bend and reach ground level shelving
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
