    Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

    Experience:


    • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.


    • Must have at least 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.


    • 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

    Requirements:


    • Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).


    • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.


    • No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Methodist Texas.

    Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures: Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Interventional Catheterizations, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Right heart catheterization
    Medications: Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Reversal agents, Thrombolytics
    Professional Knowledge and Skills: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Infection Prevention, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose), Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Cardioversion, Circulate Procedures

    • Required Skills: Processing, Sets/trays assembly, Work Settings, Acute Hospital OR, Decontamination and Disinfection, Chemical agents for decontamination, Manual cleaning, Proper labeling, Ultrasonic cleaner, Use of Washers/sterilizers, Preparation and Handling, Aseptic Technique, Case Cart, Organizing trays, Placing instruments on trays, Preference cards, Proper labeling, Proper selection of wrapping materials, Sterilization wrapping procedures, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Equipment Documentation, Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM), Specialty Equipment Processing, Ear/Nose/Throat, General, Laparoscopic, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, Sterilization, Biological indicators, Chemical indicators, Steam Sterilization Testing/monitoring

    Rotablator atherectomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Pulmonary Angiography, Pulmonary Embolization, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography

    -Preferred Skills: Endoscopes, Scope/Probe Reprocessing

    Shift & Scheduling


    Call requirements are roughly 9 days of call per month (M-F call starts 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Weekend call is 24 hours)

    5 days maximum time off

    2 references from last 12 months (Any reference type) - required for submission
