    Description

    **Incredible opportunity for entry level position in the Laboratory/Healthcare field**

    Description:

    • Manages storage of serum whole blood plasma saliva and urine samples.
    • Handles proper disposal of radioactive and biohazard waste.
    • Performs sample management tasks such as volumization labeling storage moving storage boxes and preparation for disposal.
    • Assists in locating missing samples and pulling specimens from storage locations.
    • Properly discarding patient samples.
    • Adheres to the standard operating procedures and safety requirements of Esoterix CLIA CAP and other regulatory bodies.
    • Documents all quality assurance activities as necessary including preventative maintenance logs instrument function checks troubleshooting and quality control to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Follows any other job-related instructions and performs any other job related duties requested by department management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • Data entry experience
    • AA in Science preferred
