    Description
    We Are

The American Immigration Council works to strengthen America by shaping how America thinks about and acts towards immigrants and immigration and by working toward a more fair and just immigration system that opens its doors to those in need of protection and unleashes the energy and skills that immigrants bring.

The Council brings together individuals adept at solving problems and employs four coordinated approaches to advance change—litigation, research, legislative and administrative advocacy, and communications.

The Center for Inclusion and Belonging (CIB) is a 'think-and-do-tank' that works to foster community resilience and redefine the cultural common sense about who belongs.

We engage with a key audience of Americans—we call them conflicted skeptics and?potential helpers, representing nearly 65% of the U.S.—in a way that depolarizes conversations on complex topics like immigration, de-escalates fear, removes barriers to human connection, and models?an inclusive vision for a more cohesive future.

At its best, this work advances the critical thinking

    and

practice of what it takes to build connection effectively, consistently, and durably across varied contexts and among diverse audiences.
    Your Role

The CIB is looking for a team member with interest and some exposure to the topics and issues touching our work.

Our work provides an incredible hands-on learning laboratory to experiment, innovate, and shape the theory and practice of persuasive communications, belonging-based program design, and so much more.

To be successful in the Program Coordinator role you will provide administrative and project management support across a dynamic portfolio of programs, including a national communications platform, community bridge-building work, and research projects.
