Job Title: Line Cook

Location: Creole Connection, 2322 Fourth St, Tuscaloosa, AL, 35401

Job Description:

Creole Connection is seeking multiple dedicated Line Cooks to join our team. The Line Cook will be responsible for setting up their station with the necessary supplies, preparing food for service, and cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare your station with the necessary supplies
• Assist in the preparation of food for service, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to cook menu items
• Follow the instructions of the executive or sous chef
• Clean your station and manage leftover food
• Maintain appropriate stock inventory
• Ensure food is prepared quickly, of high quality, and served simultaneously
• Adhere to nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience in cooking, including roles such as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook
• Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to execute assigned tasks with accuracy and speed
• Familiarity with industry's best practices
