    Join one of the world's most innovative automotive company, as they enter the next phase of development of their hybrid eVTOL.

    We're looking for an Aircraft Electrical Engineer who will report to the team leader for prototype aircraft development. You will use your hands-on electrical knowledge and skills to assist in the development of their hybrid eVTOL aircraft.

    You will be responsible for the concept, detail design, and installation quality of a safe and reliable aircraft electrical system.


    Candidates who have a background as an Aircraft Electrical Engineer Generalist and a background in aviation/aerospace are encouraged to apply.

    Design for Development
    Responsible to support the development of electric system design concept using high voltage generator and high-energy density battery as well as low voltage electric system design for Honda's Project, which is a hibrid electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing vehicle (e-VTOL) to support a new concept of urban air mobility
    In addition, responsible to support the design for interface of High voltage electric system and flight control propulsion system development
    Responsible for the design, research and development of advanced new electric hardware technology application for e-VTOL program.
    Responsible for wire and main power cables installation, minimizing the risk of wire damage. To create/validate the installation standards for wire/cable installation.

    Design for Certification
    Responsible for systems requirements and certification reports
    Responsible for discussing Certification approach and Means of Compliance with Certification Authority.
    Understand the philosophies behind the Zonal Analysis Procedure and interact with physical installation

    (eg:

    Fire zone, fuel tank, etc.).

    Minimum Experience
    10+ years of hands-on experience in electrical design, integration and testing verification in either aerospace or aviation.

    5+ years of demonstrated experience specific to electrical hardware, cables and wiring and associated technologies, and managing system suppliers as the technical point of contact.

    Minimum FAA Certs(Define)
    Familiarity with FAA and EASA certification processes.
    In-depth and current knowledge of Part 23/25/33 regulatory requirements, including system development per ARP4754A and ARP4761.
    Qualification of equipment's as per DO-160G and other MIL STD's.

    Other Job-Specific Skills/License
    High voltage Electric Motor and Battery experience (~800v)
    Experience in eVTOL (electrical vertical takeoff and landing) or Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) aircraft
    Ability to read, understand, and interpret the results of engineering documentation.
    Excellent problem-solving skills across all electrical and electronic disciplines.
    Desire to work in a small team environment and collaborate with others daily.
    Good communication skills.
    Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink and CATIA.
    Advanced skills with MS Package (word, excel, power point and project)

    Minimum Educational Qualifications
    A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering

    Bonus Skillset:
    Experience in eVTOL (electrical vertical takeoff and landing) or Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) aircraft is a plus.
    Data acquisition installation experience is preferred.
    passion for creating interactive storytelling experiences.


    Location:
    Southern/ Central CA (Onsite) – Relocation assistance available for those outside the immediate area.


    Travel:
    Less than 8% Domestic Travel.
