    About the position. The Director of Operations is responsible for mobilizing, developing and leading the operations team. The Director role is essential to promoting a culture of safety, productivity, and a positive customer experience. The Director oversees operational and safety practices and provides strategic direction and leadership, ensuring relevant key financial performance indicators and divisional objectives are met. Additionally, the Director promotes effective collaboration and cooperation with other department leaders such as Safety/Quality, Finance, IT and Business Development.

    What you need. To be a hero in this organization, the Director of Operations will have:

    • At least 7 years of demonstrated leadership and vision in managing teams and major projects and initiatives
    • Experience in the homebuilding and/or utilities industries required
    • Demonstrated customer service skills
    • Demonstrated skills trouble shooting SRP and APS dry utility projects
    • Demonstrated negotiation skills
    • Demonstrated communications skills both written and oral
    • Superior managerial and diplomacy skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, high growth industry
    • Advanced skills with Excel
