    Lead team to execute Business Intelligence & Insights projects to uncover trends that can drive long-term business results. Engage with leadership to understand business challenges and drive results.
    How you will contribute:

    • Support Director, Supply Chain Intelligence Organization in creation and communication of vision and strategy for MSC and Retail Sales D&A.; build the data science roadmap for the business.
    • Ability to influence the business agenda and make recommendations to senior leaders to deliver strategic and operational initiative.
    • Engage with business to understand business challenges, how users are approaching these challenges, and identify machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions that will support the decision-making process.
    • Technical experience in roles in best-in-class advanced analytics practices, from development to productionization .
    • Experience deploying new analytical approaches in a complex and highly matrixed organization.
    • Savvy in usage of the advanced analytics techniques to create business impacts.
    • Understanding of advanced analytics platforms/tools such as R/SAS, Python, Hadoop, Apache Spark, and familiarity querying databases


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Partner with business to execute the analytics agenda and prioritize highest value use cases.
    • Identify and incubate best-in-class talent and supplement with external partners to drive delivery on strategic projects.
    • Lead team that develops custom models/algorithms to uncover signals/patterns and trends to drive long- term business performance
    • Coordinate with other technical/functional (MDS/CAT) teams to implement ML models and monitor results.
    • Execute the business analytics program agenda using a methodical approach that conveys to stakeholders what advanced analytics will deliver.
    • Evaluate the need for machine-learning techniques , assess the problems to be solved and what internal or external data sources to use or acquire.
    • Manage reviews of the benefits and value of analytics techniques and tools and recommend improvements.
    • Coach junior data scientist to develop forward- looking, predictive, real-time, model-based insights to create value and drive effective decision making


    Technical Skills :

    • Experience with tools like SQL, Python, Hive, GCP, Power BI, Tableau, DataBricks , etc.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft
    • Experience with methodologies like Team Data Science Process (TDSP), CRIPS, MLOps etc.
    • Technical Documentation

    7+ years leading data science/analytics teams
    5+ years in Supply Chain and Sales
    5+ years of Project Management experience
    Education / Certifications:
    Bachelor's degree in a related field
    BS or MS in Data Science & Analytics Preferred
    Remote role within the USA.
    Within Country Relocation support available and for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
