Job Title: Histology Technologist

This role is responsible for preparing human body tissue for examination by laboratory professionals. The incumbent will assume key duties such as embedding, microtomy, and executing special stain and IHC procedures as directed.

• Embedding all types of tissue
• Sectioning all types of paraffin-embedded tissue
• Maintaining compliance with protocols for embedding and microtomy

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of on-the-job or formal histology training, pursuit of continuing education for certification as required, and a minimum of one year experience in a histology laboratory.
