- Familiarity with addiction issues and the 12-Step Recovery Program.
- Understanding of the effects of alcohol and drugs on individuals and their families.
- Familiarity with emergency protocols for drug and alcohol overdose, including First Aid and CPR.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governing alcohol and drug addiction treatment.
- Demonstrate strong communication, observation, and writing skills.
- Awareness of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
- Assess and address clients' physical and emotional well-being promptly.
- Administer and monitor medications and treatments, documenting them accurately in our EMR system.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- Provide medical assistance to clients in our outpatient program.
- Triage medical concerns and schedule necessary appointments.
- Record client information and maintain reports in EMR.
- Deliver mandated training and education sessions to staff.
- Coordinate medical care with the staff MD and psychiatrist.
- Prior experience in a Detox Unit.
- At least 1 year of staff nurse experience.
- Active RN License.
- CPR certification.

We are seeking full-time and part-time LPNs and Registered Nurses for our detox and residential unit at Bedrock Recovery Center in Canton, MA.
Schedule: Twelve-Hour Shifts (7a-7p OR 7p-7a).
Job Overview: The RN will deliver high-quality nursing care to clients based on their unique needs, utilizing both independent and collaborative nursing practices while adhering to established standards and procedures. This role requires handling sensitive information with discretion and involves interactions with Executive Staff, colleagues, and external partners, reporting directly to the Program Director.
