    Job Description

    As the Technical Marketing Manager for the solar industry, you will be responsible for understanding and advocating for our customers, shaping and then executing our marketing strategies to promote our industry-leading solar equipment.

    The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the solar industry and customers, possess a strong technical background, and be able to communicate complex technical concepts internally and externally to both technical and non-technical audiences.


    A successful candidate must be able to:
    Utilize your extensive knowledge of the solar industry to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
    Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company goals and target markets.
    Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback, address technical inquiries, and build strong relationships within the solar community.

    Conduct market research and analysis and voice of the customer to identify opportunities for growth and provide actionable insights to the new product development team and senior management.

    Work closely with product development teams to understand the technical features and benefits of our solar equipment and create compelling messaging for various audiences.

    Generate technical content such as whitepapers, case studies, and technical documentation to educate customers and partners about our products.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and marketing, to ensure consistent messaging and successful product launches.
    Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote our products and establish thought leadership.
    Other duties as assigned.


    A successful candidate will demonstrate:
    In-depth knowledge of solar components, systems, and industry trends.
    Familiarity with customer needs, competitor offerings and market dynamics in the solar industry.
    Proven experience in capturing customer insights, then developing and executing successful marketing strategies.

    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interview and capture insights and convey technical information clearly and concisely.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    Self-motivated and able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Willingness to travel to attend industry events and meetings.


    Qualifications:
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in the solar industry, with a strong technical background.
    Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.

    This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting, computer work and other physical activities.
