DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Operations Manager, Admin Assistant, Communications Coordinator, Business Administration Interns
Schedule:
An average of 40 hours per week. Normal work hours may be Monday - Friday 7AM - 7 PM.
This position will be needed to work non-traditional office hours for 2 weeks prior to a new season through 2 weeks after a season begins (approximately).
Weekends are required, as we run programs 7 days a week. The Director of Operations is an on-site position. There will be times that working remotely is needed, due to last minute scheduling changes.Key Role:
The Director of Operation encompasses, emphasizes, and delivers on 2 of the 3 pillars of the Soccer Shots Franchising Brand Promise:
Communication and Coaches. This role is a driving part of the success of each Coach, location, and family served.
The Director of Operations is a true behind-the-scenes integrator, ensuring that the in-office success encompasses the professional quality of Soccer Shots.
Job Summary:The Director of Operations is responsible for handling the schedules of each Coach and location served.
This position updates all scheduling changes including Coach changes, cancelled and rescheduled classes, ensuring classes are covered during sick leave and vacation time, and communicating any and all changes to schools.
The Director of Operations is a true leadership position and serves as the direct supervisor to the Director of Coaches and all in-office personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities(to include but not limited to)
:
Scheduling/Administration:
Handles all scheduling including Coach schedules, demos, and on-site school marketing for Coaches
Manages online platforms in conjunction with the Administrative Assistant
Creates and Maintains master calendar
Oversees all Operations accountabilities
Continually streamlines processes and systems for better productivity
Partners with The Director of Programs to schedule demos and seasons at preschools, parks, and elementary schools
Responsible for headcount and communicates the need for for new Coaches to Human Resources
Answers phone lines and emails
Maintains professionalism in office appearance and culture
Responsible for weekly and biweekly 1:
1s with direct reports, Integrator
Integral part of Leadership Team (EOS Traction by Gino Wickman)
Responsible for attending LMA Leadership Workshops (onsite)
Coaching approx. 10 classes a week
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Loves planning and executing timelines and calendars
Highly organized
Extremely personable and able to work with different personalities
Able to manage a small team
Can work under pressure and meet hard deadlines
Ability to take on a variety of roles and tasks
Knowledge of the game of soccer
Tech savvy
Quickbooks
Requirements:
Ability to Coach a minimum of 10 classes a week
Professional in attitude and appearance
Experience in managing an office team
Reliable transportation in order to travel to classes all over San Diego and San Diego County
Proof of a TB test within the past 2 years from the date of hire OR proof of a TB test
Proof of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units or completed within 6 months of hire
Proof of Pediatric CPR Certification must be completed within 2 months of hire
Completion of the Mandated Reporter Training; certification required from
